so created backed up Pro 6.1 under 32bit vista and installed Pro 9.3 in its own folder and let the installer remove the original Pro 6.1. I installed Pro 9.3 on win10 system that did not have non-expiring license 6.1 version and used runasdate to wind year forward to 2023 and it still launched as Pro 9.3.
